Where are you located, and are you willing to travel?
I am based out of Lebanon, OR and, I try to keep most of my sessions in the mid-willamette valley area. (Ex: Sweet Home, Lebanon, Albany, Scio, Corvallis and sometimes Salem or Eugene.)

What does it mean when you say you are a "Natural Light Photographer"?
Being a natural light photographer means that I don't use flashes or studio lights to create my images. Instead I choose to use the gorgeous, natural light that God gave us! I do this by shooting most of my outdoor sessions in the prettiest light of the day, right after sunrise, and right before sunset.
I will also use a reflector at most of my portrait sessions.

Do you have any wardrobe recommendations?
I think variety is key when it comes to getting the photos you'll love from your session. That's why I recommend having up to 2 different outfits for a portrait session, and up to 3 different outfits for senior sessions (be sure to look at the number outfit changes we can do for each of my packages when booking) .
If your session includes anyone other than yourself, I recommend you coordinate your outfits but that they not match exactly. Try to avoid T-shirts with slogans/logos, or busy graphics. Patterned clothes are okay, but I recommend that the pattern not be too busy. Without getting too confusing describing it, small patterns just don't photograph or edit well and can sometimes make your eyes feel pretty crazy.
Most importantly when choosing your outfits, choose something you love!
Your photos should reflect the true you.
If you feel uncomfortable in your outfit, then that will come through in your photos.
So go with something that makes you feel beautiful and comfortable!

How long is your turnaround time for photos?
For portait sessions you can expect your photos 3-5 weeks from our session date (unless otherwise stated).
I do understand that most of us (myself included!) are anxious to see our images after we have our photos taken. That's why I post a preview photo on my social media within the week following your wedding or portrait session! Helps to have a little instant gratification sometimes. ;)

How will we receive our images?
I use an amazing program called PASS.
PASS allows my clients to download all of the images from a private online gallery directly to their computer.
(No more waiting for your dvd in the mail, hooray!)
PASS also allows you to share the images directly to your social media accounts and even order beautiful, professional prints to be shipped directly to your door!

Do we have to order prints through you?
All portrait sessions include a personal print release that will allow you to print your photos wherever you choose. However, I will say that I've found a huge difference in the quality of prints that come from a professional lab (like the one linked in your galleries) VS the prints that we can get at our local walgreens, walmart, costco, etc. That is why I always recommend using a professional lab for getting beautiful, quality prints that you will be proud to show off and hang in your home.
You can order your professional prints directly from your PASS gallery and have them shipped right to your door.

What locations do you use?
I have several local locations that are great to use for portrait sessions.
However, your location should reflect what you want in your photos!
Want a river, a field, the woods, a waterfall, or an urban feel in your photos? We can do that!
There are tons of great areas for photos in and around this area, let me know what you have in mind and I’m sure we can find the perfect spot.
